Alignment + Functional Movement
Expect to employ the use of props both physical and imaginative to help us locate, illuminate what we don’t know that we don’t know, to inform us of what is possible, to either challenge and add fire to the practice or to soften and support. Come prepared to participate actively in order to awaken your blind spots, discover a more competent and supple body, and create more space, buoyancy and vitality. This class is a container for curiosity and a place to explore ‘the body as process, not object.

Mindful Flow Yoga
I’ve been taking Mindful Flow classes for over a year now and have found them to be challenging without overtaxing my arthritic knees. It’s been a confidence-building experience for me. The class has been a way to wake up my body and reconnect to my own inner wisdom while building flexibility and strength. The class may not move as quickly as the vinyasa flow classes, but it is physically challenging just the same.
