Nancy Ciancaglini

Nancy took her first yoga class in 1995 and was intrigued by the level of peace she felt at the end of class. She fell into teaching when asked to teach a class after completing teacher training, which she took intending to deepen her practice in 1998 at Yoga Haven in Tuckahoe, NY. Also around that time, she became a Reiki level 2 practitioner and trained with Sonia Sumar as an advanced level practitioner of Yoga for the Special Child (now The Sonia Sumar Method/Yoga for All Abilities). She went on to teach yoga for several years before stepping back to focus on her family and career as a speech-language pathologist and business owner.

She has recently become re-certified as a yoga teacher through YogaRenew’s 200-hour teacher training. Nancy has also been a student of Buddhist meditation and has a love for all things in the spiritual realm. She is a devoted wife and mom to two adult children and one dog. She enjoys knitting/crocheting, reading, baking, fostering puppies and is interested in health, wellness, nutrition.
