Yoga Instructor

Leydin Kotapish

I’m a sound therapy facilitator trained in Somatic Sound Therapy, with over 20 years of experience sharing the healing power of Crystal and Tibetan Singing Bowls.

My journey with sound began in 1993, when I was 17 years old and first heard about singing bowls on NPR. They were interviewing a woman who lived in a round house and played round instruments made of crystal. I was completely fascinated—but back then, there was no Google to look it up. It wasn’t until years later, in a yoga class, that I experienced the bowls in person and instantly fell in love.

At first, I played just for myself, friends, and family. But as I shared, people kept telling me how much it helped them—easing pain, calming anxiety, improving sleep, relaxing their nervous systems, and bringing a deep sense of peace. That encouragement inspired me to begin offering sound therapy more publicly.
