I started my yoga journey when I was 16 living in VA. As a young dancer, I discovered Unity Woods Yoga Center on the route to the Washington School of Ballet. I found a deep connection to my body awareness in the movement.

While attending UCLA, I found the Iyengar Institute of Yoga. I practiced there for over three years, meeting and learning from B.K.S. Iyengar himself, and earned a certification. Moving to NYC, I practiced at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center and received a certification in that discipline. The Jivamukti Yoga Studio with Sharon Gannon and David Life was a revelation. The integration of music and rhythm in the asana flow freed my dancer self.

I've been fortunate to learn from incredible masters across various traditions, including Yogi Bhajan of Kundalini Yoga, each shaping my practice in unique ways.

As I continue to grow and learn, after 40 years of practicing and teaching yoga, I'm amazed at how yoga adapts to support us through every stage of life.
